These lanterns are handmade by the same small ceramic studio in Poland which makes our Rustic line of fermentation crocks.   The lanterns are very popular at his roadside stands along the border between Poland and Germany!

Because these lanterns are handmade in a small studio, each lantern is a unique piece of art.  The artisans who create the lanterns have freedom to embellish the design as they choose, as long as it fits with the theme.  While the design shown in the product photo is an example of what the lantern will look like, the product you receive may have different individual features.   However, we feel that these discrepancies are part of the unique beauty of these lanterns.
