FACTORY SECOND - Dry Storage Crocks, Various styles

Our dry storage crocks are defective fermenting crocks with flaws in the interior glaze.  We hate throwing away a crock that could be used for other things, but because of their defects we can't sell them to be used for fermenting.  Therefore, we are offering them here at a great discount to you!  We can't wait to see all the fun ideas our customers come up with to make use of these Dry Storage Crocks!

These crocks do not qualify as a typical Factory Second Crock because we cannot guarantee that these crocks are water tight.  While they may work for fermenting or other needs, their interior glaze flaws are likely to cause leaking.  For this reason, we recommend that these crocks only be used for dry storage or decorative uses.  Some ideas we've seen or tried are - storing dried beans, dog or chicken food, decorative displays, etc!

While many of these crocks only have flaws on the interior, some may also feature our typical factory second exterior flaws as well.  The pictures show typical damage which may include missing or flawed glaze in the interior of the crock, chips in the exterior finish or rim, glaze discoloration and/or small surface only scratches. Each crock has unique glaze and/or surface defects.  In order to provide these crocks at a large discount we do not provide information about the specific flaws with each individual crock.  Because these crocks are not intended for fermenting, they do not include weights.

We have a limited supply of these crocks as only a few are defective in each shipment.  Check back often as the stock of factory seconds changes frequently. We DO NOT send email notifications when Factory Second items come back in stock.
